In addition to workshops, we work with schools, districts, and educational organizations through consulting partnerships that support sustained shifts toward the Model-Based Inquiry (MBI) framework. This work is designed for teams seeking coherence across classrooms or grade levels and focuses on building local capacity rather than implementing a fixed program. Consulting partnerships may include collaborative unit design, curriculum mapping, support for instructional leadership and coaching, and guidance on adapting MBI to existing initiatives and community contexts. All consulting work is grounded in the core commitments of MBI, including phenomenon-driven instruction, attention to students’ ideas, iterative model development, and the use of public records to support sensemaking and evidence-based explanations.
