The most challenging part of designing a model-based inquiry unit is finding a productive phenomena to anchor the unit. Here you will find example phenomena successfully used by science teachers in the past. They are organized by disciplinary core idea. But where is Engineering, Technology, and the Application of Science? We're working on it! We have found model-based inquiry to be a very effective way to develop units in science. We are looking at ways the model must be adapted for the engineering context.
